Regarding life "emerging" from nothing or by random-chance "evolution", both are absurdities ensconced in the mindsets of atheists who deny that a supernatural creator is an absolute necessity in creating even the simplest lifeform. Why? Even if environmental chemical processess, on the odds of one chance in ten followed by over 29,000 zeros, could create amino acids, the support structure, and the DNA molecule, a super-intelligent coder/programmer would have to perfectly code the over three billion combinations of nucleotides within the DNA molecule. Moreover, the programmer would also have to code nucleotide instructions for the lifeform to procreate, without which, the lifeform would die in short-order.

The science report illustrates the late stage development of the US capitalist State. Regulatory capture by industry and private profitability are the ruling forces.
